What is Ecocert?
ECOCERT is a prominent organic certification organization based in France, under which COSMOS is the highest global organic standard for the cosmetic industry.
The ECOCERT standard was set to inspect the ingredients, manufacturing process and packaging to ensure that everything from where the plant is grown to the packaging you see on your shelf is compliant. ECOCERT will only approve the use of “green chemicals” and accredit products that meet its strict criteria. To ensure an environmentally friendly product, ECOCERT strives to promote the use of ingredients derived from renewable resources and production and manufacturing processes that are environmentally safe. Outside cosmetic products and respected ingredients, all of our product packages and product pages online detail the full list of ingredients as well as the breakdown % totals for natural origin and organic farming.

What does it mean to be COSMOS ORGANIC APPROVED?
Gaining a COSMOS ORGANIC or COSMOS NATURAL signature means that a company has met a number of in-depth criteria to ensure consumers that their products are genuine organic or natural. This criteria is not only focused on ingredients but checked at various points in the journey of the product. These checks are not just focused on ingredients themselves but include checks on various processes at our eco studio, how we source our ingredients, ensuring that we do not test on animals, the sustainability of our packaging and even our formulations.

DERMATOLOGICALLY TESTED
We are also dermatologically tested which means the product has been tested for safety on human skin and is non irritant. However we insist that you always do a patch test before using the product.
PETA CRUELTY FREE & VEGAN
This certification means that we in no way promote or practice any kind of testing on animals and are completely cruelty-free. We are also a vegan brand.
